Dampak Transformasi Digital terhadap Produktivitas Sektor Industri Manufaktur di Indonesia

ABSTRACT
Digital transformation has become a strategic imperative for the manufacturing industry to enhance
competitiveness in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This study aims to analyze the impact
of digital transformation on the productivity of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia in 2023. A
quantitative approach was employed, using a survey of medium and large-scale manufacturing
companies selected through stratified random sampling. Digital transformation was measured using
four indicators: operational technology, information technology, analytics technology, and business
process digitalization. Meanwhile, productivity was assessed through labor productivity, capital
productivity, operational efficiency, and Total Factor Productivity. The results of multiple regression
analysis indicate that digital transformation has a positive and significant effect on manufacturing
productivity. Information technology emerged as the indicator with the greatest impact, followed by
operational technology, business process digitalization, and analytics technology. This study
contributes to the literature by providing comprehensive empirical evidence on the impact of digital
transformation on manufacturing productivity in a developing economy. It also offers practical
implications for industry players and policymakers in designing effective digital transformation
strategies to boost the productivity of Indonesia’s manufacturing sector.

ABSTRAK
Transformasi digital telah menjadi imperatif strategis bagi industri manufaktur untuk meningkatkan
daya saing di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak transformasi
digital terhadap produktivitas sektor industri manufaktur di Indonesia pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini
menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap perusahaan manufaktur skala menengah
dan besar yang dipilih melalui stratified random sampling. Transformasi digital diukur melalui empat
Indikator yaitu teknologi operasional, teknologi informasi, teknologi analitik, dan digitalisasi proses
bisnis, sedangkan produktivitas diukur menggunakan produktivitas tenaga kerja, produktivitas modal,
efisiensi operasional, dan Total Factor Productivity. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan
bahwa transformasi digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas industri
manufaktur. Teknologi informasi merupakan Indikator dengan dampak terbesar, diikuti oleh teknologi
operasional, digitalisasi proses bisnis, dan teknologi analitik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur
dengan memberikan bukti empiris komprehensif tentang dampak transformasi digital pada
produktivitas manufaktur di ekonomi berkembang, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku
industri dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi transformasi digital yang efektif untuk
meningkatkan produktivitas sektor manufaktur Indonesia.
